"We are excited to be showcasing our work on this extraordinary film at Cannes - Here we hope to show our expertise in D-cinema solutions, offering producers & filmmakers a smoother pathway from digital acquisition to exhibition and distribution," says James Tocher, founder and President of Digital Film Group, "this will be a 3- tiered experience of digital media content - HD theatre, HD on personal entertainment devices, and an exciting demonstration of wireless delivery of HD media content."

This is the third time Intel Corporation has selected the Vancouver-based company to demonstrate their expertise to the international movie industry. At this year's Sundance Film Festival, Digital Film Group was chosen by Intel and Microsoft to provide the encoding services for InDigEnt Films' "November", the HD feature starring Courtney Cox. "November" was the only feature premiered on broadband wireless technology. In early 2000, DFG partnered with Intel & Microsoft through presentations at the Festival des Films du Monde ( Montreal ), Vancouver International Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, and the IFP Markets in Los Angeles & New York .
